Solution:

  1. Identified the printers by locating their IP addresses.
  2. Accessed the Embedded Web Server (EWS) for each printer by entering the IP address into a web browser.
  3. Adjusted the printer settings:
    • Disabled Bonjour to prevent discovery by Mac devices.
    • Disabled Web Services (Microsoft) to prevent discovery by Windows devices.
  4. Refreshed the Printers and Scanners settings to confirm the printers no longer appeared on the network.
  5. Verified with the user that their ability to print was unaffected by these changes.

The printers were successfully hidden from the network, and the user confirmed they could still print without issues.
