Introduction
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for projecting your PC screen to your iPad using Zoom, facilitating seamless participation in meetings and presentations.
On Your Company Laptop
Opening Zoom Application
Navigate to the Zoom application on your company laptop. Ensure you are logged into your Zoom account scheduling a Meeting
If you haven't scheduled a meeting:
Click on the plus icon in the upper left-hand corner of your personal meeting.
Select "Schedule meeting" and enter the required information in the popup. Then, save the meeting details.
If you already have a meeting scheduled:
Check your Zoom Dashboard to ensure the meeting is listed.
If not found, navigate to your Outlook Calendar and verify that the meeting is scheduled through Zoom.
On Your iPad
Downloading Zoom Through Company Portal (if missing)
Download Zoom: If Zoom is not already installed, download it through the company portal.
Signing In
Once the download is complete, sign in to Zoom using Single Sign-On (SSO).
Type in “mirumpharma” and press continue
You will be redirected to your preferred web browser.
Enter your company email address (e.g., firstname.lastname@mirumpharma.com).
You may receive a push notification for Okta; press "Select" and enter your Okta password. Then, press "Verify"
Open Zoom:
An alert may pop up asking to open the page in Zoom. Click "Open".
In the Zoom app, you may see a popup requesting access to your contacts. Press "Okay".
Another popup may appear for enabling notifications. Click "Continue".
You may also be asked to grant Zoom full access. Click "Allow Full Access".
After granting permissions, a screen will appear stating "You're ready to go!".
Press "Get Started" to proceed to your home screen.
Already Logged In
If you are already logged in to Zoom on your iPad, simply open the Zoom application and proceed to the next steps.
Screen Projection
iPad
Join Meeting: Open the Zoom application on your iPad and join the scheduled meeting.
PC
Share Screen: Once in the meeting, tap on the green "Share" button at the bottom of the screen.
Select Screen: Choose the option to share your PC screen.
Congratulations! Your PC screen will now be projected onto your iPad, allowing you to view presentations or participate in meetings seamlessly.
PLEASE NOTE TO MUTE YOURSELF ON BOTH YOUR PC AND IPAD TO PREVENT AN ECHO!
