Getting Started from Windows Desktop Home Screen:

  • Windows Login {DEFAULT} Pin Code: 12341234

 

  • Reset Windows Hello PIN 
  1. Select Start Menu (bottom left of screen)> Settings (cog wheel) > Accounts > Sign-in options
  2. Select Windows Hello PIN > “I forgot my pin” to reset. Must be min. 6 digits [Numbers Only] 
  3. Setup Fingerprint and Facial Recognition [if desired]. 

 

  • Okta Verify Please install on your mobile device… ASAP! – REQUIRED!
  1. choose “Add Account” > select “Organization” > select “Skip” > “No, Sign In Instead” > for organization, input “mirumpharma” then, Type in your OKTA username and password

 

  •  Launching OKTA dashboard 
  1. Open Chrome browser and type the URL: https://mirumpharma.okta.com 
  2. An OKTA credential box will appear. Type in your Mirum email address (firstname.lastname)
  3. Type in your Okta temp password.  M1rum2023!     [you will need to reset this temp password to a new password]
  •   Reset Okta Password – Find your name in the top-right corner, Click the drop-down arrow(V) then “Settings”, then Edit Profile”. 

 


Scroll down to the section labeled “Security Methods” and select… “Change Password”.


Your NEW PASSWORD…  must be 10 characters long (Alpha-numeric – no special characters)



Back to the Okta dashboardPlease click on DocuSign, Compliance Wire, and Envoy to activate accounts.


 

(The Envoy app - is an essential app to reserve a desk when you visit the Mirum offices)



  • Zoom setup ( if applicable)

       Sign into Zoom Application from your taskbar and sign in with

using (SSO) If prompted, enter in the “Domain” section: mirumpharma

Please install ALL found updates to optimize the overall experience and performance of the laptop.


  • SOFTWARE UPDATES:
  1.  Type in the “Search” field or click on the “Spy Glass” icon...  
  2. Type “Update” > select “Check for Updates” > install all Updates that need to be installed.



  • HARDWARE UPDATES:


  1. Run Lenovo Update: Start Menu > type “Vantage” > open Lenovo Vantage > Select “Check for System Updates”.


         2. Select ALL updates that are found.  ( Several reboots of the laptop will be required. )
