Whitelist/blacklist sender or domain.
Audience –Tier 1, Tier 2, Internal
Description: Proper method to whitelist/blacklist a sender or domain.
Procedure:
- Navigate to https://security.microsoft.com/antispam?tid=a1989840-3eb8-419d-a5a2-fc575c0bbb23
- You should end up on the Anti-spam policies screen
- Click on Anti-spam inbound policy
- Scroll all the way to the bottom and click “Edit allowed and blocked senders and domains”
- From here pick Sender or Domain that you wish to block or allow
- For this KB we are blocking a sender but the process is the same for the others.
- Click Add senders/domain and add the email or domain you wish to block or allow
- Type the email or domain, click the box that pops up to add it to the list
- Click “add senders” at the bottom of the screen
- Click “Done”
- Click “Save”
- Click Add senders/domain and add the email or domain you wish to block or allow
