Adding an email alias.

 

Audience – Tier 2

 

Description:

            This guide explains the process for adding an email alias for a Mirum user. Please escalate to tier 2/sme for these requests.

 

Procedure:

  1. Confirm with the end user the address they want to be their primary, this will be either their original username/email address or the alias.
  2. Launch mirumpharma.okta.com
  3. Click “Admin” in the top right corner
  4. Click “Directory”
  5. Click “people”
  6. Search for your user and click their name to open their profile.
  7. Click “Profile”
  8. Click “edit”
  9. Scroll down to “O365 Proxy Address” and click “Add another”
  10. Enter the alias
    1. If the user wants to keep their original email address as the primary email address you will enter smtp:user@mirumpharma.com
    2. If the user wants the alias to be their PRIMARY email address (Username will remain their original email address) you will enter SMTP:user@mirumpharma.com 

 

Escalation:

 

If an escalation is necessary, please escalate to Tier 2 as the first POC, if Tier 2 is unavailable please escalate to SME.
