iPad Setup Guide
IMPORTANT: Add iPad to RAM/MSL/KAM Intune group
Description:
When adding a new hire that is a RAM, MSL, or KAM please make sure to add the user to the proper Intune group to ensure applications get pushed out for them.
Procedure:
- Go to endpoint.microsoft.com
- Click on Groups.
- Search for iPad
- Choose the iPad Sales and MSL group and add the user to that group.

Unboxing and Essentials
Begin by unboxing your iPad and familiarizing yourself with the essential components, including the iPad itself, charging cable, power adapter, and documentation. This section ensures that you have everything you need for a smooth setup.
Charging and Powering On
Power up your iPad and swiftly navigate through the initial setup steps.
Hello Screen:
Turn on your iPad and greet the "Hello" screen.
Swipe Up:
Swipe up to proceed to the next screen.
Language Selection:
Choose your preferred language.
Country or Region:
Select your country or region.
Appearance:
Opt for the "Default" appearance.
Remote Management:
Click "Enroll this iPad" for configuration.
Touch ID:
Choose "Set up Touch ID Later."
Create Passcode:
Set a passcode to 950950 and click "Use Anyway."
Location Services:
Click "Enable Location Services."
Welcome! You're now on the home screen.
Company Portal Setup:
Homepage Access:
From the homepage, locate and click on the Company Portal application resembling the image below.
Sign In Process:
Inside the Company Portal application, initiate the sign-in process:
Click “Sign In” to transfer to the Microsoft Sign In page.
Microsoft Sign In:
On the Microsoft Sign In page:
Enter your firstname.lastname@mirumpharma.com.
Click “Next.”
Organization Homepage:
Once redirected to your organization's homepage:
Re-enter your firstname.lastname@mirumpharma.com.
Click “Next.”
Okta Password:
Enter your Okta password.
Click “Verify.”
Push Notification Setup:
Choose “Select” under “Get a push notification.”
Click “Ok” on the “Get notified so you don’t lose access” screen.
Notifications Authorization:
Allow Comp Portal to send notifications.
Proceed to the “Setup Mirum Pharmaceuticals access” screen.
Device Management Confirmation:
Click “Begin” to initiate setup.
Observe “Get your device managed” turn into a green checkmark.
Checking Device Settings:
Click “Continue” as “Checking device settings” turns into a green checkmark.
Company Portal Dashboard:
Once pressed, you'll be presented with the Company Portal dashboard.
Navigate to Apps in the bottom left corner to download preferred applications.
App Installation:
To install an application in the Company Portal:
Tap on the desired application.
Click “Install.”
Verification of Installation:
Unsure if the install has begun? Navigate to your homescreen.
Search for the “Teams” Icon to confirm.
Your Company Portal is now set up, and your iPad is ready to efficiently access and manage your applications. Enjoy exploring your personalized digital workspace!
